休日当番医を受診される皆様へ

いつも診療にご協力いただきありがとうございます。

受診される前にお伝えしたいことがございます。コンビニ受診と休日当番医の性質についてです。

まず、コンビニ受診とは、一般的に外来診療をやっていない休日や夜間に緊急性のない軽症患者が医療機関を自己都合で受診する行為を指します。

平日の昼間に体の不調を自覚しながら「仕事が休めない」「日中は約束があるから」等を理由とし、休日や夜間に重症者の受け入れを対象とする病院や当番医を自己都合で受診する行為です。

「コンビニ受診を控える」ということは決して「無理して我慢する」ということではありません。本当に必要な人が必要な時に医療を受けられるようにご協力していただきたいということです。

昨日の夜または今朝から症状が出た方、当番医利用は全く問題ありません。でも「1週間前から症状があって仕事が忙しくて、休日ならこれたので。」これはちがいますよね？症状を軽く考える患者さんの中にも、専門医による高度な診療や精密検査が必要になることもあり、対応に苦慮するケースも多くあります。また、当番医はあくまで応急処置の場でお薬は休日のみの処方です。

全国の救急外来と同様に休み明けに必ずかかりつけ医の受診をしていただくようお願いしています。

　皆様には、長い待ち時間にもかかわらずご協力いただき感謝しております。

　コンビニ受診は医療機関を消耗させるため何年も前から社会問題となっております。どうか地域医療と当番医制度の正しいありかたの為に今後ともご協力よろしくお願い申し上げます。

To Patients Visiting During Holidays

 Thank you for using our medical services.

 Before your consultation, please note that inappropriate use of emergency services - visiting holiday or nighttime clinics for mild, non-urgent symptoms that began on weekdays - is discouraged. These services are intended for emergencies and severe cases.

 This does NOT mean you should endure pain unnecessarily. If your symptoms started last night or today, it is appropriate to use the holiday duty service. However, visiting for issues that began days ago for convenience is not suitable, as some conditions may require specialist evaluation or detailed testing, which cannot be provided in this setting. Medications prescribed are only for the holiday period. 

 As with emergency departments nationwide, please follow up with your regular doctor promptly after the holiday.

 Thank you for your cooperation. Your consideration helps ensure that emergency care is available for those who truly need it and supports the regional medical system in the Kiryu and Midori city.
